Welcome to StructuraLink Rhein-Ruhr 2024

Welcome to the StructuraLink Rhein-Ruhr Meeting, a dedicated symposium designed to foster connections among research groups specializing in structural biology across the Rhein-Ruhr region. Initially established as a convening platform for crystallographic groups from Köln, Düsseldorf, and Bochum, the scope of our meeting has since broadened to encompass all aspects of structural biology, including but not limited to Cryo-electron Microscopy (CryoEM), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and Cross-Linking Mass Spectrometry (XL-MS) from these cities.

While the StructuraLink Rhein-Ruhr Meeting is primarily designed for the research communities within our specified universities, participation is not exclusively reserved for individuals from these institutions. If you're interested in our activities but are not affiliated with these universities, we encourage you to reach out to us. This way, we can discuss whether the conference aligns with your professional interests. Our goal is to ensure the meeting remains impactful and engaging for all participants.

The symposium places a strong emphasis on supporting junior researchers by providing them with opportunities to present their findings, thereby fostering their professional development. In line with this commitment, we strive to maintain minimal attendance fees.

This annual meeting rotates its organization among the member universities. For the year 2024, the C2f will graciously host the event.

Through this website, we aim to offer insights into the symposium's structure, its thematic focuses, and general logistical information.

We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to Cologne in September and are excited about the exchange of knowledge and ideas that this meeting promises.
